Watershed School to Hold 15th Anniversary Party

Watershed School will hold a 15th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, June 9 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Watershed School, 1 Free Street, in Camden. The party will feature music by members of the Gawler Family, a street contra dance with caller Chrissy Fowler, and food by local restaurants and sponsors.

A reception following Watershed’s commencement will be held from 6:00 - 7:00, and will include music by current and past Watershed students. The contra dance, which will close Free Street from Mechanic to Pearl, will begin at 7:00.

Food offerings will feature varied selections from Me Lon Togo, a West African restaurant recently opened in Searsport. “The qualities that make West African food what it is include the fact that we have our own special spice blends,” says owner and chef Jordan Benissen. “The food is made from scratch, we take our time in preparing it, and we use fresh ingredients.”

Other food will include fare from Pemaquid Oysters, the Bagel Cafe, Camden House of Pizza, French and Brawn, Boynton McKay, Tomi, El Ancia, and other local establishments.

Sponsors of the event include Champion Total Health, Yachting Solutions, The Haven Center, Camden House of Pizza, Life By Design, Drouthy Bear, and Camden Deli.

Admission is a minimum suggested donation of $15 per person, and raffle tickets will be available to purchase.

All donations and sponsorship support go toward Watershed's scholarship fund.
