Mariel has traveled extensively throughout Spain, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico, where most of her family still resides. While studying at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts she majored in linguistics and second language acquisition. Mariel is passionate about learning languages and is committed to excellence in language instruction. She is also very proud to be a Watershed alumna.
